Requirements

System Requirements
8GB RAM & 256GB HDD(16GB RAM for Balanced price and performance).
Stable internet connection.
Revit version 2022 or later.
Knowledge Required
No prior Revit knowledge is necessary.
Delegates should have a basic understanding of construction principles.
Experience using a CAD application such as AutoCAD is beneficial, but not essential.

    Module B: BIM Modeling from Point Clouds in Revit (Part 1/2)
    •Linking and georeferencing the Point Cloud
    •Datum Levels
    • Building Model – columns and walls
    • Building Model – Door and window component
    • Modeling floors
    • Modeling Ceiling
    Students will also have extra homework to do on their own before the second day of the class.
  • 2024Day Two-Friday, September 27th

    Module B: BIM Modeling from Point Clouds in Revit (Part 2/2)
    •Modeling roof
    •Modeling stair
    • Modeling railings
    •Conceptual mass
    Module C: Creation of Parametric Families
    • Creating New family(window)
    •Working with families and parameters
    Module D: Topographic Modeling in BIM
    • Modeling the site and topography
    Students will also have extra homework to do on their own before the second day of the class.
